At the end of our recent visit to Nova Scotia, Canada, we had opportunity to visit Peggy’s Cove, home of the iconic Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse. We had visited it once on an earlier trip to Nova Scotia, and enjoyed its spectacular setting, so we were looking forward to a chance to return.

Since this visit was in late September, there were plenty of other people who were visiting at the same time. When we arrived there were two tour buses at the lighthouse, and more kept arriving all the time. All of that activity made it challenging to make a photograph that wasn’t filled with cameras and people!

Fortunately patience paid off.
